Biography - Jeff Hagan
My early exposure to rallying was as a navigational rally competitor and volunteer. I competed on and off in the MLRC mini rally series in the late 1990s. In 2000, I finally witnessed a performance rally firsthand... as a marshal at the Rally of the Tall Pines. By the end of the day, I was hoarse from shouting "5! 4! 3! 2! 1!" and soaked from the knees down from the spray of the cars, and I was hooked. Jeff co-driving for Martin Donnelly at the 2002 Rally of the Tall PinesIn 2002, I finally made the plunge and started co-driving. Over the years, I've done full seasons with some drivers and one-off rallies with others. I've been lucky enough to travel all over North America rallying, from the Rockies in the west to St. John's in the east and from the cold of Quebec in February at Rallye Perce-Neige to the heat of Corona Rally Mexico. Jeff and Ashton Evans at the 2004 Rocky Mountain RallyFor 2010, I'm tentatively booked for a number of events, but I still have some availability. If you need a co-driver, email me for details. When not co-driving, I work as a transportation engineer for an engineering consulting firm in Richmond Hill, Ontario and volunteer as a track marshal at Mosport International Raceway. I also practice Iaido with the Toronto Kendo Club and am an active member of the Durham Region Amateur Radio Emergency Service. |
